Christantus Uche Fuels Comfortable Crystal Palace Win at Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden continental campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are adapting very quickly. Without key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding win that all but guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to seal straight entry to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's fringe players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a well-taken goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second game in succession.

After the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest key players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
